Most organisations are delivering a fraction of what they are capable of.
The gap is measurable and costing more than you think.
Adaptiv identifies the constraints eroding performance and translates them into economic terms.

Every organisation has a gap between what they
potentially could deliver,
and what they actually deliver.
Potential has to pass through the friction zone before it becomes performance.
The friction zone shapes the logics behind how decisions are made, and work is executed.
No organisation is without one.
The friction zone is built over years sometimes decades. It is born from the logics that built success, that over-time calcify into hardened beliefs and assumptions.
These calcified friction elements filter and shape decision quality, slow execution and reduce how much potential becomes economic outcomes.
Watch this 3 minute explainer to understand our work.
When leaders feel the gap between potential and delivery,
and seek external support, they usually try one of two things…….
Consulting: rigour and analysis, but it stops at the organisational surface. Change programmes sit on top, unaware of the conditions that produce the problem.
Coaching: awareness and reflection, but disconnected from commercial reality, value creation and economic consequence.
Both have value.
Neither measures the gap or connects it to economic results.
That is the space Adaptiv works in.
We combine the economic focus of consulting, the systemic depth of team and leadership coaching, with a structured framework that translates what is usually invisible into language a board or investor can act on.
Our focus is on improving health and reducing friction in order to
close the economic gap
between potential and actual results.
We work in different ways.
Diagnostic Assessments.
External and internal assessment of the conditions shaping performance. Produces a structure report with economic translation. For Owners, CEO’s, boards and advisors who want to understand the gap before acting on it.
Direct Interventions.
For leaders and teams who are ready to work with what surfaces through the diagnostic assessment. Bespoke interventions suited for your organisations, sector and context. Generally starts with an introductory workshop.
Why we’re doing this.
Most organisations are not operating at their peak, even after years and years of traditional transformation programmes, leadership development and external advice and consulting.
In the meantime global uncertainty has reached unprecedented levels, while organisations have become more complex and challenging environments, leaving many leaders tired, under-resourced and lacking in the tools and approaches that could cut through the complexity.
Our intention is to help cut through the complexity through the Meridian Framework.
Who we are.
Amit Zala & Angeles Lopez Aufranc
Amit Zala, Founder
Amit has spent more than two decades working with founders, owners and senior leaders navigating change under real commercial conditions. His practice is grounded in systemic thinking, the conviction that what shapes outcomes is found not only in structures, strategies and metrics, but in the invisible architecture of how organisations make sense of themselves. His work surfaces those dynamics, makes them legible, and connects them to what they cost. The question driving everything he does: how do we close the gap between what an organisation is capable of, and what it actually delivers?
Angeles Lopez Aufranc, Co-Founder
Angeles brings over two decades of senior leadership experience across global healthcare organisations including GSK, ViiV Healthcare and Sandoz, shaped by an MBA from INSEAD and a Master's in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. She has led organisations through growth, transition and transformation across continents and cultures. Her conviction at Adaptiv is direct: the diagnosis is the work. Before any conversation about value or change, there must be honest, precise and courageous seeing. That belief shapes everything she brings to leaders and boards building organisations that endure.
